Encouraging words from Joel & Victoria

Wow ! What words of encouragement for today's scripture. In a world filled with some much pressure hitting us from all directions, the Lord tell us this:

You're Not an Accident!

Today's Scripture
"So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step." (1 Corinthians 9:26)

When you're living according to your purpose, there's nothing in this world that can stop you. You can develop a vision of victory in your life knowing that God can handle anything that comes your way. The Bible says that "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." Simply shake off anything that the enemy throws at you and don't let it hinder or bother you. Lift your eyes to God - when you magnify him, the obstacles in your life will become so much smaller.

A Prayer for Today
God, thank you for my purpose and my placement. I know that You intended me to live right where I am today. May I live boldly and step out to grasp those things that You have called me to do. In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Thought for Today

Wow ! This is really cool. This morning I woke up at 5:00am. Did all of my morning chores before hitting the pavement at 6:30am to go for a morning jog. During the time that I jog I try and focus on scripture and reflex during this time. Well, I started to think about my favorite scripture which is Phillipians 4:13 - " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", this scripture helps me out always in all aspects of my life.

I finally get to the office around 9:00am. open up my email and read below what the scripture of the day is for today Monday:

What You See is What You Get

Today's Scripture

"I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power." (Philippians 4:13)

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

The things that you believe about yourself will probably come to pass. If you see yourself happy, then you will probably be happy. If you see yourself well, you may have good health. The Bible says that you can do all things through the strength of Christ. All you have to do is believe it. God is going before you, making your paths straight and surrounding you with His favor. The Bible also says that His blessings will chase you and overtake you! The key is to make God the center of your focus. Problems shrink when you put your focus on the Him!
A Prayer for Today
God, thank you for the strength and victory that comes only from You. May I have the boldness and strength to see things the way You do and to have a victorious vision. In Jesus' name.

Amen.

God is good all the time.

Happy Thanksgiving Holiday

Wow ! It's been awhile since I have posted. Everything is going great here with the Bosch family. The Bosch's continue to wait for Isabella. There has been no new adoption news, just waiting, meanwhile, our family will continue to wait and stay busy. My hubby and I returned on November 19 from a 11 day pilgrimage journey which was called " Following Saint Paul's 2nd missionary Journey. It was really nice, we had the blessings of traveling to Athens Greece, then we went on a cruise ship to Valletta Malta, Catania Italy, Naples Italy, Civitavecchia Rome, Nice France and Monaco.

The trip was wonderful. I had enough quiet time to focus on this Pilgrimage and what I learned from this trip is that are life is always on a pilgrimage, and we are always a "pilgrim people" on our way to our eternal home with our Lord. We met some very interesting individuals that helped me to see God's light in a different way. Saint Paul is an amazing saint that had an incredible journey. So many times, St. Paul himself slandered and judged our churches and our fellow christians but yet God had mercy on him and brought him to light. To the point, that because of his conversion and his wanting to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord, he was put in prison and condemmed to death by the Romans.

We learned a lot about St. Paul and I will continue to Pray for Saint Paul to be an interssessor for me and my entire family during our own Pilgrimage here on earth.

Blesssings to all.

Scripture for the day

Today's Scripture

"Choose life, that both you and your descendants may live." (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Today's Word:

God has given you the wonderful ability to choose – and you can choose the best life . . . or death. Make the kind of choices that say, "I'm choosing my best life!" For example, today you can choose faith instead of fear . . . happiness instead of depression . . . success instead of failure . . . godly living instead of compromise. The Lord wants you to make the wise choices of a champion every day and when you do, you'll experience the abundance of His love and joy in every part of your life. The Spirit of God is in you, and you have the power to choose God's best!

A Prayer for Today

God, thank You for the gift of free choice and for showing me the right answer to choose through Your Word! In Jesus' Name. Amen.
