Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word "GUIDANCE", I kept seeing "Dance" at the end of word.
I remember reading that doing GOD's will is alot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes that and let's the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or the another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word "GUIDANCE", when I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "U" and "I". "God", "U", and "I" "dance".

God, You and I dance. As I lowered my head , I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings & mercies are upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God, as God abides in you. Dance together with God , trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.

Let's continue to pray for one another and I HOPE YOU DANCE !

A Deeper Thought !!

Life’s Greatest Decision

We were created for a reason—a divine purpose. Our lives are not accidents or fate. God has a personal plan for each of us, and His purpose in our lives can only be accomplished through Jesus Christ. The life of Jesus Christ is the turning point of all history. Even our calendar is hinged on His birth. Throughout history many have asked and will continue to ask, "Who was this man?"

Who was Jesus?

Jesus is often recognized as a historical person, a great teacher, and even a prophet. Jesus, however, was much more than a teacher and prophet. He was God in human form. Jesus is God’s Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins and conquered death by rising again to offer us forgiveness of sin and the gift of everlasting life. He ascended to heaven and will return again for all His followers.

God Has a Plan for Our Lives

God created us with a purpose. The Bible states in Jerehmiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope" (New Living Translation). Because God loves us, he created us to be in relationship with Him.

God's Plan Cannot Happen for Us Because of Our Sin

Romans 3:23 states "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard."(NLT) Because God is perfect, the Bible says He cannot look upon sin. Our sin separates us from the relationship God intended.

We Must Be Forgiven to Have God's Plan for Our Lives

On our own, we are hopeless to repair this broken relationship. The Bible says the punishment for sin is death. The death the Bible is talking about is not just our body dying. It means our spirit, which lives forever, will be in everlasting punishment. Our sin separates us from God both in this life and also after this life.

God Made a Way for Us to Be Forgiven

John 3:16,17 says, that "For God so loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." Jesus’ death on the cross offers us the forgiveness we need to come into relationship with God. This forgiveness brings a hope of everlasting life to all who call upon Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
Romans 10:9, 10 says, "If you confess with your mouth, that 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved" (NIV).

You can receive Christ as your Savior and Lord right now, this moment! If you are ready to receive the forgiveness of Jesus and surrender yourself to His plan for your life, confess that to Him.

Below is a sample prayer. Speak your heart to Him:

Father in Heaven, Acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of salvation, I come to you today and confess my sins before you. Forgive me for my sin of denying Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I now recognize that your son, Jesus Christ, died and paid the price for my sins. He took my place for the penalties that I rightly deserved. I believe that Jesus is your only begotten Son who came to save sinners. I believe that He died on the cross, rose from the dead and has prepared a place for me in Heaven. I ask you to forgive me, cleanse me from my sins and heal my life. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I ask for the Holy Spirit to come into me and help me live a new life according to your plan. Thank you, Father God for saving me from eternal death and giving me new life through Jesus Christ. I pray this in the name of Jesus.

God has forgiven you if you prayed this prayer and meant it from your heart. Now you can begin the life He has planned for you! One of a person's greatest needs in life is to be part of a family. This is also true in your new life in Christ. You need to become a part of a church. A church is a spiritual family that will encourage you and help you grow spiritually.Pray and ask God to guide you to a church that teaches salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—a church where the Bible is believed, taught, and obeyed.

If you have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ, I'd love to hear from you. Send me a comment to let me know about your decision.

Happy Birthday Baby Emmanuel

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies".

Yes today 5 years ago, I was in the hospital working my way to giving birth to our still born son Baby Emmanuel. Although, baby emmanuel is not with us on earth, he remains very close to me in my heart. I know he is in Heaven playing with Jesus and with our grandparents that are up their too. Having to live those difficult moments in our life just continues to remind me of how good our GOD is. Three years later to almost the same day, in GOD's infinite wisdom he created baby seth in another women's body to be delivered to Herb and I on August 6th, 2007.

Our precious Lord has given me the best of both world's. I experienced the physical pain of Labor with Baby Emmanuel along with the emotional wounds that came with it, but I also experienced GOD's Glory during that entire time. Our Jesus never ever left our side, he was walking with me every step of the way, along with our precious Blessed Mother. And then, three years later he blessed us with Baby Seth - who's birthday is tommorrow. I could not ask for anything more.

Someday my precious son, we will all be reunited in Heaven and there will be nothing but joyous laughter for the rest of our lives. I love you so very much baby emmanuel and I carry you in my heart every single day of my life.

Today, I will light a candle for you - please continue to be our angel in heaven and to be the beacon of light that we all need here on earth. I love you my precious boy.

Love your Mama !!! Happy 5th Birthday
