Women of Faith - National Conference 2007America’s Largest Women’s Conference Hosts Fun-Filled Weekend at Alamodome
“No”- It’s not a word that most women are comfortable saying. Women today have taken on more responsibility than ever and need creative outlets to cope with the increased stress in their lives. In fact, the American Psychological Association recently reported that women are overall more stressed than men. This is exactly what organizers of Women of Faith, North America’s largest women’s 2007 Women of Faith National Conference: event are finding out.
2007 marks the 12th year for Women of Faith conferences. This year they expect to reach more than 400,000 women at 28 events hosted across North America. The program provides a rollercoaster ride that jumps from drama, inspirational music and speakers who share stories with gut-level honesty.
On March 15-17, 2007 Women of Faith will kick off its tour with the National Conference at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Over 20,000 women are expected in attendance making this the largest Women of Faith event in 2007. Visit www.womenoffaith.com maybe you can join our group next year.
Here is a taste of what you can find at these type of conferences: Encouragement for this week :
THE ART OF SAVORING LIFE: To experience happiness we must train ourselves to live in this moment, to savor it for what it is, not running ahead in anticipation of some future date nor lagging behind in the paralysis of the past. With wholeness and sensitivity we must live in the here and now. “But what if I don’t like the here and now?” you ask. “What if my present moment is one of disappointment or impairment or heartache? How then do I savor that moment?” Good questions. The answers reside in the first and most profound principle for the art of savoring life: Pleasure lies in the heart, not in the happenstance.
